The Alaskan Yarn Company sells wholesale!

March 15, 2016 By Jules Leave a Comment

The Alaskan Yarn Co. developed an Alaskan Color way about 5 years ago after visitors kept asking for ‘local’ yarns. Since spinning takes too long we came up with colors we see around us in Alaska. The seven Alaskan colors are Chugach Forest, Denali Autumn, Fireweed, High bush Cranberry, Kachemak Bay, Lupine and Northern Lights. There are great pictures in the slider on the home page.

We also offer Dot Dyes which are also sock yarn but each is a one of a kind and not reproducible. We can get close sometimes but there will always be variables.

We offer wholesale to LYS businesses around Alaska and elsewhere. In the online store there is a wholesale sample box option that will give you a chance to see what our colors look like. The box contains two skeins each of the the Alaskan color way and 3 different Dot Dyes.  Once we have your tax ID and contact information, we will ship out your sample box.  Contact us for more information.

No online stores please.

We predominately sell sock yarn and worsted weight but all our color ways can be made in other weights. Ask us for specifics. We are happy to answer any questions and look forward to hearing from you.image
