The Alaskan Yarn Company is a local, independent, woman-owned and operated dye studio in Homer, AK. We create vibrant hand-painted yarns and roving, custom colors, and our specialty Alaskan Color Collection inspired by the natural beauty of our homeland! We also offer supplies for knitting, crochet, spinning, and needle felting at local retail events and provide 100% locally-sourced Alaskan wool from right here on the Kenai Peninsula. Alaskan Yarn Co. skeins can be found at several Local Yarn Shops around the state, as well as online in our Etsy store. Classes and workshops are offered periodically. We are available for custom orders or Knitting Emergencies
